The John Beswick collection represents the world?s finest tradition for ceramic animal sculptures. With a heritage stretching back to 1894 these hand crafted studies emulate the authentic style of the celebrated originals. Every piece is hand painted to reflect the natural glory of our favourite animals, with collections featuring horses, farm animals, birds, pets and wildlife studies.  By the end of 2002, Royal Doulton ceased production of all Beswick products.

In 2004 the John Beswick brand and product rights were acquired from Royal Doulton, including production moulds and archive material, by John Sinclair and John Hammond . Both have considerable expertise in marketing ceramic sculptures they and are delighted to continue the proud heritage of this famous name. The range is now produced under the name Dartington Crystal (Torrington) Ltd
